Change in our eConsult service availability

From Friday 29 November 2024, eConsult will be available Monday to Friday 07:00-18:00 (excluding Bank Holidays)

To better manage our workload and ensure timely responses to your queries, we have decided to turn off eConsult during evenings and weekends when there is an out of hours service available via NHS 111 or use Out of Hours services to receive appropriate care.

The majority of Devon GP practices only turn on their online consultation programme during opening hours, however we will continue to turn eConsult on at 07:00, to enable working people to safely access the system outside of our normal working hours.

By focusing our resources during these hours, we can ensure that your queries are addressed promptly and safely.

For any urgent care needs that arise outside of these hours, we encourage you to contact NHS 111 or use Out of Hours services to receive the appropriate care. You can find additional information at Get help for your symptoms - NHS 111
