Chulmeigh Dispensary Opening Hours from 23.3.20

Due to staff shortages and increased medication requests, the dispensary opening hours for the collection of prescriptions at our Chulmleigh site will reduce to:

Monday to Friday - 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm.

This will help the staff to work through the high volume of incoming medication requests and queries.

Medication Supply Issues

Our medication suppliers are experiencing on-going staff shortages which have impacted on our medicine deliveries. Currently only partial orders are arriving.

The practice would like to encourage those patients who do not take advantage of our monthly ordering system to use this, and order their next month’s supply at the time they collect their medication, we will then arrange a collection date in 28 day’s time for you. This enables the dispensing team to order your medication in advance; allowing the supplier’s adequate time to fulfil our order during this time.

Update to all patients – Coronavirus

Following the Governments announcement the practice would like to confirm the surgery opening times remain as normal, access to the surgery will be provided for pre-booked appointments only and a collection facility for prescriptions will be provided at each site.

  • To gain access for pre-booked appointments at Wallingbrook or Winkleigh Surgery, please knock on the door. Patients will not gain entry unless a pre-booked appointment has been made.
  • To collect a prescription at Wallingbrook or Winkleigh Surgery, please knock on the door and wait for a member of the team to assist.
  • To organise an appointment, please access wallingbrook.co.uk and complete an eConsult or telephone the surgery on 01769 580295

 

These measures have been taken to protect the patients and staff in an attempt to maintain services delivered to our community.
